aint John Neumann Nursing home is a Catholic nonprofit, 226 bed Skilled Nursing Facility owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, located on 12 scenic acres in Northeast Philadelphia.

We continue the Catholic Church's rich tradition of serving the elderly by providing excellent care and services which address physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs, thereby enhancing the lives of our residents.

St. John Neumann Home is the leader in short term rehab in Northeast Philadelphia and in the surrounding area. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, post-surgical care, IV therapy and a host of other rehab services. Our post acute-care services are designed to support the transition from hospitalization to home. We are dedicated to caring for mind, body and spirit.

Our bright, beautifully decorated one-story building provides a warm, comfortable environment where residents, families and friends feel welcome and at home. Enclosed out door garden areas can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Spacious indoor lounges with large windows are a favorite place for many. Our beautiful Chapel is the cornerstone of our home where Mass is celebrated daily by our priest chaplain.

The experienced caregivers of Saint John Neumann Nursing home serve the residents with devotion and dedication. Saint John Neumann is the home of our residents and, for the staff, their ministry is to care for them.

Whether the need is for long term nursing care, short term rehab, or respite stay, Saint John Neumann Nursing home offers the finest quality of care starting from the day of admission and continues until the day of discharge. Our 24 hour professional nursing staff provides physical and emotional support to residents and family members. Our goal at Saint John Neumann Nursing home is to provide optimal care to maximize independence and enhance quality of life.

When considering nursing care services it is important to visit in person, tour the environment, ask questions, and experience firsthand the atmosphere of care. Application for admission may be made in person, fax, or email. Our admissions representative will be happy to answer any questions and assist you in the admissions application process. Applications can be obtained by downloading below or by contacting our Admissions Office.

A completed application consists of two documents: the Application for Admission and Physician's Evaluation. If the applicant is currently in a medical facility, current medical records from that facility will replace the Physician's Evaluation.

Once a completed application has been submitted it will be reviewed by our Admissions Committee and you will be promptly notified of the availability of an appropriate vacancy.

Admissions are considered regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, disability and sex.
